This column shows the preferred split configuration for a Subject.
The Split value is interpreted as follows:
“22111” represents two double periods “22” and three single periods “111”.
A second example “33211” represents two triple periods “33”,one double period “2”, and two single periods “11”.
Double periods, triple periods, etc, are not split during timetable generation in order to span over Breaks and other General Activities listed on the Timetable screen.
The Splitsper Subject can be changed by Selecting the Edit button() to the Left of the Subject Code.
When this is done the user will be able to change the Splits for the specific subject.
The Splits can be changed by changing the value in the Splits text box. This is done by Left Clicking on the List Box.
The user Saves the changes to the Splits by selecting the Save button ().
The user can Cancel the changes by selecting the Cancel button().
